My mother often shared that, when I was young, I would gaze at the cross in our living room for long periods of time. Though I can't recall the exact reason, I have since felt an enduring connection to and appreciation for the symbol. Whether for its religious significance or its inherent beauty, I offer this simple, imperfect cross for you to contemplate.

This particular cross is a very Dark Purple.  Looks almost black but when the light hits just right a very deep, intense purple comes through.

The Tiffany copper foil method is a stained glass technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 19th century. It involves cutting individual glass pieces, wrapping the edges with a thin copper foil, and then soldering the foil edges together to form the design.
