St. Brigid's Cross Beveled Stained Glass SunCatcher

This modern take on the St. Brigid's Cross is handcrafted using the Tiffany foil method on beveled glass.  Upon my trip to Ireland in 2012, I was inspired to share this symbol. Each cross is finished in your choice  of antique copper, silver or oil rubbed bronze and highly polished.

St. Brigid's Cross is associated with Brigid of Kildare, who is venerated as one of the patron saints of Ireland.   Traditionally these crosses were weaved of rushes and were hung in prominent places of the home for protection and blessings.
